Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, our beloved partners in Gospel of Jesus Christ,

Summer days are going on here in Bosnia with big heat (almost every day over 35°C/96°F) so we are litterlay melting. Anyway that weather do not stops us to do what we are called to do – to share Gospel with people of Zenica and Derventa. We are also working with bees and helping them to survive this heat and some guest have been recently here with us and have blessed us with their presence and the Word of God.

Jim Kingsbury
Jim, man of faith and old time missionary to different country, came to Zenica to spend few days with our family and to be refreshment for us. In spite of weather conditions we hang on and had great talks and some great time with good food. It was great to hear wise words from a man who spent all of his life to spread Gospel to different nations. Hope to see you soon, Jim!

Old Pentecostal pals
Just after Jim left Zenica that afternoon we had guests from Pentecostal church in Novi Sad (Serbia). We served in that church as elders for 6 years in late ’90) and we have also been those who with our ex pastor and one other brother started and lead Bible school there. Now some old members and students decided to come to Zenica to visit us but we were supprised since some of them we haven’t seen for 24 years.
After we had a lunch we took them to our church space to show new building and as we were drinking coffee we just spontaneously decided to have worship and small church service. And it was amazing! Brother Ted Bultsma and his wife Lori shared some words they had on their hearts but then we all took time to share some memories and something from the word and I can’t explain how great time we had. 

David Billstrom
Old friend, who was at one time missionary in Sarajevo, David Billstrom came to Zenica with his son Joshua. We had four great days talking about old memories but also about what we can do in present time and future for Gospel to be spred in Zenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
David preached on our Sunday church service and message was anointed with the Holy Ghost. 

Dario and Danijel in Zagreb
Third week of July, my son in law and I went to Zagreb (Croatia) where I was invited by pastor Mario Ducic to preach at his church. I preached twice same day – on domestic and international service. Message title was “Tickets for Heaven” and we hope people there was blessed and encouraged to walk in the light of the Word of God.

Since second service (on English) was not fully recorded here is a short recording by my son in law.

 

Barry Marsten (Canada)
In second week of August we will have dear friend and pastor, from Foursquare church in Canada, Barry Marsten and his friend who will visit us in Zenica and I know we will have great time. Beside our time in Zenica and Sunday service we will also go to Derventa and visit our bee land but also we will spent some time in Sarajevo and show pastor Barry and his friend a town where once we had winter Olimpics games and place of my birth and salvation.

My trip to US (October)
In October I will be leaving for US to visit some Foursquare churches in Colorado and California and some good friend in Dallas Texas. Unfortunately I will not be able to visit some churches and friends on NorthEast and NorthWest area but hope to be able to do that next time.
I’m so thankful to pastors David, Matthew, Ken and Jim for being willing to hoste me and give me time to preach at their churches and share our vision and all we do here in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, I’m so grateful for my dear friend Ed from Texas who provided all flight tickets for me. 

Prayer rquests
Please, pray for following things:
– for us as family and church to continue to preach Gospel and to plant church in Derventa
– for our bee work and buldings we want to build on that land. I will come soon with some more details.
